Dan dan noodles originated from Sichuan where the name literally means “carrying pole noodles”. It is a popular street food where noodles were carried on one side of a pole and the condiments are on the other side. Minced meat, Chili oil, Sichuan peppercorn, sesame, and peanut are among the most popular toppings for the noodle.
Here at k.Market, it has become one of our best-selling dumplings. The Sichuan peppercorns and chilli paste add the slightest tickle of heat but it adds a beautiful sweetness to the dumplings. It’s truly a comfort dish inside a comfort dish.
